ROBERT GIERING Robert Sonny Giering, 67, passed away April 4, 2006, in his home in Portland, Ore. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Howard and Hellen Giering. Survivors: Wife, Barbara, seven children, Tommy, Tassie, Tari, Thicia, Robert, Mike and Kristal, 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren all of Portland; brothers, Howard, Richard, William, David; sisters, Dorothy, Sandra, Linda, Pearl, Peggy-Lee. He was predeceased by sisters, Barbara, Evelyn and Elizabeth, and a brother, Thomas.

ROBERT J. "BOB" GIERING Robert "Bob" James Giering died April 4, 2006, in his home at the age of 67. Bob was born June 8, 1938, in Northampton, Pa. After serving in the Army and the Air Force, he worked for Northwest Airlines for 38 years. Upon retirement, he enjoyed woodworking and collecting. In 1974, he married Barbara Schippers. Survivors include his wife; daughters, Tassie Lee, Tari Giering, Tricia Stockwell and Kristal Giering; sons, Tom, Rob and Mike; sisters, Peggy Giering, Linda Cruz, Sandra Martinez, Pearl Wambold and Dorothea Kramer; brothers, Howard Jr., Richard, William and David; 10 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many, many nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly. He was predeceased by his brother, Tom, and his sisters, Barbara Matos, Evelyn Aquila and Elizabeth Buckles. Remembrances to the Ronald McDonald House. A family gathering has been held.
